Management Team Bill Coffey, FSA President
Bill Coffey is the sole owner and President of Atéssa Benefits, Inc. His practice concentrates on large-plan actuarial consulting, non-qualified plan administration and executive compensation services. Since 1991, he has worked with Atéssa clients to design, finance, administer and communicate their employee benefits and executive compensation plans.
An actuary by training, Bill has more than 35 years of employee benefits and executive compensation plan experience. Prior to joining Atéssa, he spent twelve years as the Director of Compensation and Employee Benefits for Allied Signal, a Fortune 500 company; five years with a New England life insurance company; and eight years with Towers Perrin.

Jeremy Clear, FSA Managing Director Jeremy Clear is an actuary and consultant who has worked for two of the three largest HR consulting firms in the US. He concentrates his practice on large plan actuarial consulting, non-qualified and executive compensation plan administration. He works with clients to design, administer, fund and communicate their employee benefits plans.
Jeremy directs and manages the operations of Atéssa with overall responsibility for quality control and client relationships. He is also the chief actuary, with experience in all areas of employee benefits.

Barbara Johnson Managing Director Barbara Johnson has over 17 years of experience in pension and employee benefit administration, actuarial methods, and fund investment analysis. Her former employers include two Fortune 500 companies. Barbara's primary focus is the application of technology solutions to the daily operations of benefits administration at Atéssa. Barbara also oversees the Marketing, Information Technology, and Form 5500 Compliance Departments, as well as non-qualified plan administration. Judy Abegglen Judy has worked for Atéssa since 1994 and has over 24 years of experience in HR and employee benefits. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Summa Cum Laude, from San Diego State University and has a Certificate in Personnel and Industrial Relations.
Gail Meloan Gail has worked for Atéssa since 1999 and has over 18 years of experience in pension and employee benefit administration. Gail has completed her ASPPA Pension Administrator designation and is working on her Qualified Plan Administrator (QPA) credential.
Nancy Stone Nancy joined Atéssa from one of the largest pension administration firms in the US. She has over 15 years experience in HR and employee benefits. Nancy has a Bachelor's degree in Science from Chapman University and a Master's degree in Education from Old Dominion University.
